Training and Administration System (TAS)

The Training and Administration System (TAS) automates the entire operations of a Training Institution that include Admissions, Student Management, Course Management, Back office Operations and Administration in a Training Center. Other major Features of this portal include Student Registration, Online Examinations, Automation of student selection processes and intimations, Student Allowances and Performance Programs, Faculty Management, Faculty Scheduling, Assets Management, Infrastructure Management including Class, Laboratory, Library, Accommodation and other facilities, Workflow Management, Document Management, Personnel Information, Collaboration Modules, User Registration, E-mailing, Private Messaging, Personalized Theme Management, Content Management, etc.

The software is developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 and SQL Server 2000. This application has both English and Arabic interfaces.

Web Portal for a Transportation Vehicle Manufacturer

The project was developed for a Transportation Vehicle manufacturing company in USA. It was aimed to automate various processes in the Marketing, Sale and Customer Care. The features included Product Management, Accessory Management, Dealer Request, Dealer Registration, Dealer Portal, Issues and Customer Complaints Handling, Customer Support, Feedbacks, Forum Discussions and User Management. This application also supports dynamic Content Management.

The application was developed using ASP.Net with C# and SQL Server.

Workflow Management System (WMS)

The Workflow Management System (WMS), developed for a Nigeria based company, provided an automated way to create and accept requisitions online in Kiosk terminals through a browser interface such as Internet Explorer. After the requisition has been created, it may be reviewed by designated reviewers and must be approved by at least one designated approver before being routed to appropriate authorities for actions. If the requisitions included ordering then concerned officials would electronically dispatch the Purchase Orders to respective Suppliers. The WMS first queries the Material Management System online, for availability of material before submitting the request into the WMS for review and approval. The Material Management Component in turn would check for availability of the material among storage locations, within local company inventory facility and also through inter-sourcing activation within collaborating companies, using the latest peer-to-peer technologies, before a positive or negative response is given to the Originator in the WMS. The total process was seamless and online. The negative availability response from the Material Management component would enable the Originator to proceed with the processing of the purchase request in the WMS.

This application was developed using .NET with C# with connectivity option to different databases.

Computer Based Learning Management System (CBLMS)

Computer Based Learning Management System (CBLMS) is an e-Learning tool that is being developed for a client in Saudi Arabia.

CBLMS is an application that allows check-in and using various Computer Based Training tools (CBT) by students of various courses. The CBTs are developed using multi-media tools and the access rights are controlled by the CBLMS.

CBLMS permit students to access CBTs over internet and intranet environments. CBLMS maintains the time spent by each of the students in each of the CBTs. The software permits quizzes and trial tests and the scores are correlated to the time spent by each student to determine the learning efficiency. CBLMS offers a variety of self improvement tools for the students to evaluate their performance, identify the areas of strengths and weakness in their preparations. Faculties can access and monitor the performance of each student and provide instructions to students on areas to concentrate. Students are permitted to ask questions while they are learning CBTs and these questions are directed to concerned faculties through an underlying seamlessly integrated Workflow Management module. CBLMS permit version control, distribution management and change management of CBTs. CBTs can be checked in for any course, batch, subject, topic, chapter and lesson. Also multiple CBTs can exist for any of this classification.

CBLMS is being developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and SQL Server. This application has both English and Arabic interfaces.

Forensic Laboratory System

The project was aimed to automate various processes in the Administration of a Forensic Laboratory. The features included Case Registration, Case Assignment to various Departments and its Investigators, Sample Collection, Sample Registration, Case Management, Examination, Forensic and Pattern Searches in present and past data to link a case to previous ones of similarity, Report Generation and Finalization of various cases, Managing Forensic Inventory System, Managing Forensic Library System, Managing Forensic Personnel System, Managing Case Documents and User Management.

The application was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and Oracle. The user interfaces in this project were developed using English and Arabic interfaces.

Shipping Cargo Management

This project was executed for a company from the Middle-East Asia.

The application was an automated Shipping Management System and had Customer information, HWB information and tracking, online shipment booking, vehicle information, sending and receiving receipt details and General reports included in the scope.

The application was developed with ASP.net using C# and MS SQL to enable both internet and intranet functionalities.

Clinical Information Management System

This project was done for a leading Hospital in the Middle-East Asia and included features such as In-patient Management, Out-Patient Management, Pharmacy, Different Laboratories, Stores and purchase, Insurance, Accounting, Doctor’s desktop, scheduling Doctor appointments, claims processing, administration and emergency modules.

The software was developed using Asp.net with C# and SQL server to enable both internet and intranet capabilities.

EC PERK

EC PERK is a product developed for a client in USA. PERK stands for Process Efficiency Review Kit. This product will facilitate an organization defining its various divisions, departments and business units with Key Performance Areas. These Key Performance Areas are associated with primary and secondary objectives and responsibility centers. The package allows defining goals for different periods and collecting performance data by interfacing with existing OLTP applications. Based on the data collected, indicators, metrics and trends are calculated and graphically presented. The areas of concern based on acceptable level are highlighted and the package facilitates recording review notes and action plans with follow-ups.

The software was developed using VB, ASP, and VBScript with SQL Server as the backend.

Web Portal for Disabled Community

This project was for a web portal intended for people with disabilities, their families and Researchers doing research in disability related subjects.  This project automates all the Research related activities of a disability Center. Features of this portal development project included Research workflow, User Registration, E-mailing, Private Messaging, Personalized Theme Management, Content Management, Online Community Services, Discussion Forums, etc.

The portal was developed for a non-profit oriented charitable organization, dedicated for the disabled community and funded by the Government of Saudi Arabia. The web portal provides access to disability-related information and programs available across the government and private sectors on numerous subjects including civil rights, education, employment, housing, health, income, support, technology, transportation and community life, with just a few clicks. The Web Portal offers a broad array of resources and services, such as e-mail, forums and search engines. It provides daily updates from the media, news and events which are useful to uplift the disabled community. The portal also coordinates with a number of researchers to come out with solutions to address the disability issues and improve the disabled community. The portal allows the Research Core Service (RCS) to grant funds for research through a grants managing and disbursement system.

The Web Portal provides an internet gateway to any person visiting the disabled community portal with access to online news and information, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using the dynamic information from many databases; own and associates. The web portal is aimed to be the ultimate source of information for the users and the members of disabled communities. This web portal enables the disabled community to achieve measurable results and provide accurate, on-line, and up-to-date information.

The portal included a Content Management System (CMS) to manage the dynamic information provided in the Website, Research Core Services, Founder Council Application, Public Relation & Media Affairs, Disability Codes, Layout and Page Customizations, Discussion Forums, Latest News & Events, Downloads, Photo Gallery, etc.

The software is developed with dual language interfaces, using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003 and SQL Server 2000. The user interfaces in the project has ability to switch between English and Arabic contents.

Comprehensive Information Management System (CIMS)

CIMS is an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that addresses most of the functional requirements of medium sized business enterprises. The project was undertaken as a product development for an accounting firm from the Middle East Asia. Each of the 10 modules can run either as stand alone applications or in conjunction with any or all of the other modules. The modules are Sales, Purchases, Stores, Dispatches, Planning, Human Resources Management, Quality Control, Financial Accounting, Production and Maintenance. The package is web enabled for product cataloging, publishing and ordering. The workflow automation is achieved as a unique intranet solution using Internet backbone.

The software was developed using VB, ASP, and VBScript with SQL Server as the backend.

Point of Sale System

This Application was developed for a major stockiest and retailer in USA. This application addressed electronic ordering, point of sales, stock lifting, inventory management, Supply Chain management, financial accounting and sales reporting. The Software also has a web enabled Executive Information module based on Exception reporting.

The application was developed using Java, Servlets, JavaScript, Oracle.

Human Resource Management System

The scope of this project covered a flexible method to define the position quotients in an organization, and complete workflow of sourcing and recruiting, training, appraisal and cessation. A Comprehensive Human inventory was maintained with complete history, and Human Asset valuation.

Features like Man power planning, compensation, Performance Appraisal and Development, Administration and TDS were also included within the scope of this application. This application was developed for a company in Middle East Asia for their client.

This project used Visual Basic and Oracle as the backend for development.

Electronic Cataloguing

Electronic cataloging software enabled easy browsing and search of parts interchange data. This project was executed for a USA based company. The data that can store include interchanges linked to OEMs (make, model, year, Engine specification etc), resizable images with thumbnails, electronic ordering, catalog updates and OE research.

This application was developed in VB with SQL Server.

Online Examination for Recruitment

Online Examination (OE) is used for screening the candidates in the recruitment process of an Organization. The details of pre-screened candidates applying for a position in any department will be stored in a resume databank with a registration number. When a vacancy arises for a position, selected candidates applied for that position would be sent intimation for test through e-mail or post. The test is conducted online for the candidates on the scheduled date and the result is used for further recruitment process. The OE is deployed for screening the candidates during the recruitment process in a Company.

The software application was developed with ASP.net using C# and SQL Server.

Border Control System

The project involved Designing and implementing database architecture for Border Control Application for our customer in Brunei. This application had a central server and four remote locations at the entry and exit points of the country. The application provided functionalities such as capture and analysis of the passport images, capture and analysis of landing cards, capture movement details across the border, checking reference lists of 'searched' people, and supporting border crossing with smart card and passport. To achieve these functionalities we have implemented multi master and procedural replication between all remote Oracle databases.

Automotive Interchange Data System

This application was developed as a web site for a major automotive information service provider in USA. This web site detailed the company’s activities and various services provided. It also presents querying of manufacturer lines available, parts interchanges, information on technical specifications, pricing and Order Acceptance form.

The application was developed using PERL/CGI in LINUX.

Online Auto Accessory shopping site

This application was developed for a USA company for online selection and purchase of auto accessories depending on the Year, Make, Model and Engine Specifications. The company has multi-category, multiple products from different manufacturers that the user could choose from.  Each stage of selection of a product involves selection of various parameters used for narrowing down the search. We have developed electronic cataloging of the products to facilitate search and locate.

This application was developed using VB, ASP with SQL Server as the backend.

Automotive Forum (AMF)

AMF is an online discussion forum developed for automotive industry in USA. Users who are interested in automotive industry can log into the forum and interact with other users and domain specialist in the industry. Forum was developed using the concept of master pages and skins in ASP.NET. This helped to easily change the look and feel of pages with minimum effort. This application was built on 3-tier architecture.

Advertising System for publishing houses

The Advertisement System was designed for a leading publishing house in India to cover all the operations and information flow from Deal capture, Release Order, Space booking, Advertisement Scheduling, Billing, Accounting and Receivables monitoring, Collection follow-up and Marketing MIS related to campaigns, Sales call reporting, Contact database and Performance monitoring with various evaluation parameters. The application processes the data from Deal and Release Order to generate the scheduling for the advertisement and execute various actions leading to automation of the entire Advertising System of the Company.

The software was developed using Java, Servlets, JavaScript, DB2-UDB version 5.0 with a unique multi-master and procedural replication feature.

Cruise Management System

The cruise system designed for a USA company provided all information on luxury cruises promoted by cruise operators to travel agents and customers. The application included a Group Management module that would take care of Cruise group allocation to travel agents, a booking module to handle reservations/cancellations based on preferences of cruises/Liners by travel agents/customers, and an Accounting module for payment handling and related accounting.

This application was developed using VB, ASP, and VBScript with SQL Server as the backend.

Payroll

A comprehensive Payroll Application was developed for a company in India for business enterprises covering Masters such as Employee, Department, Designations, Allowance and deductions, Loans, Advances, Leaves, Tax classifications, Transactional function such as shift scheduling, daily attendance, leaves, loans and advances, Reporting such as statutory statements and reports and analysis such as absenteeism and manpower availability are some of the features.

The software was developed with VB and Oracle.

MyAthlete

This project was executed for a customer from USA. The MyAthlete application is a combination of web portals to track various events and athlete’s race-day performance. The scope of this application covered MyAthlete Web Applications, Administrative portal and infrastructure necessary to support the target customers and users. The data has encrypted packets over the GPS from the Device Applications of Devices owned by Athletes along with value points from supporting devises are received in the MyAthlete server through a carrier server. These are then mapped using physical and logical mapping. The category of functionality and features applies to creating, managing, and monitoring events (independent of Athletes or Spectators) including tracking athletes and events using map and satellite views.

This application was developed using JAVA, JSP, JS, Struts2, HTML, Dreamweaver, and XML

Web Based Vehicle Tracking System

The project was executed for a USA based company for GPS based Vehicle Tracking Application. The application in general provided for a number of features and services which are associated with a devise. The features included providing Historical Information about a particular trip, support and help Desk services to the user, Information about Product and Services, and so on. The GUI provided for a service website to enable the users to track their assets. There was also be an interface which could be used to integrate the primary GPS based tracking software which included tracking modules, maps and other databases to support the online tracking. The layout, usability and design itself made it appealing to a large number of companies and government agencies.  The design also had to be adhered to the quality standards in the relevant area of the Industry.

Shipping & Marine tracking

This application, was done for a client in USA, is different from GPS tracking on land. Shipping & Marine Tracking Solution was created to address the emerging needs of integrating GPS satellite positioning technology and services with commercial satellite communications services, to provide seamless worldwide coverage for remote marine tracking of maritime vessels, whether in port or on passage in any ocean.  MTS enables the detection of location, speed and heading of vessels to be tracked and monitored from any desktop, laptop or handheld device with internet connection. 

The application combines GPS, satellite communication, instant messaging and web-based mapping, to provide fleet managers accurate information about the activities of their vessels on a day to day basis.  The services included sending position reports to a marine tracking application, and the automatic delivery of programmed warnings to indicate alerts, alarms or incidents that warrant action.

Pharmacy Software

Pharmacy Software essentially dealt with a point-of-sale linked to stock and inventory transactions. The application linked the suppliers for automated ordering. The software followed FIFO for supply with tracking of expiry dates. The movements between showrooms, pharmacies and stores/warehouses were tracked. The damaged, expired and non-moving items can be easily identified using this application.

This application was developed using PHP with MYSQL server as backend.

Clinical System

This software application can manage patient case file, Diagnosis ICD-10, family details, appointments, insurance, medical certificates, billing and receipts, Laboratories and Radiology apart from generating various reports.

The application was developed in PHP with MYSQL as backend.

Hospital Information System

Hospital Information System dealt with Inpatient Management from admission till discharge that included Patient Registration and Admission, Ward Transfers, Accounting and receivables management, Outpatient and emergency Management, Doctor’s appointments, Laboratory Managements thru seamless integration with other modules, Integrated Pharmacy, maintaining medical records with file locator, Operation Theatre, Business center, Nutrition and Blood Bank. The various modules are integrated seamlessly through a Workflow Management and Document Management. The application has multi currency and multilingual facility and can connect to other locations of the hospital for exchange of patient information.

Maintenance Management System (MMS)

MMS dealt with the management of facilities and Assets, spare parts and accessories, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, Scheduling and rescheduling, MRO and maintenance requests and work order.

Free Classified Ads

This site was aimed to post free classified advertisements. Based on region and locality, free advertisement of specified categories and subcategories could be posted. The application could handle both Goods offered and Goods wanted. Site provides for user registration, automatic matching of buyers and sellers with notification to users, auto expiry of entries posted etc.

The application was developed using ASP, VB Script and use of third party tool, HiperTools, for web page development.

Lost And Found

The Lost and Found web site was an online lost and found database created to form a centralized community to exchange lost and found information. Users could list and search for lost and found objects, using a variety of parameters including categories, keywords, and location.

The application was developed and designed using ASP, VB script and SQL Server as the backend.

Transportation Information System (TIS)

TIS has the ability to manage Customer information, Salesman information, House way bill (HWB) for customers, HWB for prepaid and COD (Cash on delivery), Price Lists, Invoicing and accounts receivables, Branch information, Vehicle information, Driver information, Loading information, Sending receipt details, Receiving receipt details, Sending HWB details, Receipt voucher details for customer, Payment voucher details for customer, Credit note, Debit note, Cash receipt for COD and prepaid, Customer access to HWB, Customer follow-up to process, SMS to customer and Reports.

Document Management System for Technical Education

This project was undertaken for a company from the Middle-East Asia.

The application was an automated, digitized system for references and a training database to support the training development process. This application also had a complete document management system to control the access and distribution of documents and to manage the changes to them.

This application with multilingual capability was developed with ASP.net using C# and SQL server to enable both internet and intranet functionalities.
